Taylah is the proud owner of La Strand and is super passionate about not only hair but client experience. She loves people and is driven by creating jobs, supporting the local economy and happy clients.

Amy is our salon manager and loves looking after clients and staff she has been hairdressing for over 18 years. She absolutely loves styling hair and takes pride in knowing her clients are 100% happy with the experience. Amy has a soft touch and is always up for a chat.

Di has been a hairdresser for 30+ years and is our salon coordinator managing our appointments and admin. She loves gardening, the beach and op shopping. Shes is very outgoing and people orientated.

 Verity has been pursuing her passion in hair for 20  + years. She enjoys working with clients to create unique looks that they feel great in. From blunt bobs to luscious locks with gorgeous bouncy curls, she loves working with her clients to create the perfect style. She is also our apprentice lead ensuring that our next generation of stylists look after our clients with quality training  and recruitment processes.

Mel has been hairdressing for over 26 years and loves everything about the client experience from start to finish. She is an absolute legend in blow drying and takes massive pride in the finished look.

Katie has been hairdressing for over 16 years. She enjoys meeting new clients and

helping make their visions become reality, she takes pride in the fact that the client has walked out of the salon with a smile and new knowledge of how to keep their hair feeling salon fresh!

Erin has been hairdressing for 20 years and is very passionate about what she does. She specializes in installing and colouring tape extensions. She has a bubbly personality and loves a relaxed chat.

 She loves her clients and appreciates their unique quirks, always bringing a fun and uplifting energy to the salon. Maddi takes great pride in her colour work, paying close attention to every detail to ensure stunning results. Her Favorite part of the job is seeing her clients happy and confident. You’ll always find Maddi with a big smile on her face, ready to brighten your day!  

 Dani is our dedicated fourth-year apprentice who is always eager to learn and grow. She takes the time to listen to your needs, ensuring you leave the salon feeling confident and happy with your hair. Dani’s passion for hairdressing shines through in her work, and she loves building connections with clients. Her Favorite part of the job is seeing each client walk out the door with a big smile and a style they absolutely love. 

 Christina is our talented second-year apprentice who thrives in the dynamic, creative environment of the salon. With a strong work ethic and a playful sense of humour, she brings both professionalism and fun to every client interaction. Christina loves connecting with people and is always up for a great chat about anything and everything! We’re so happy to have Christina on our team as she continues to grow her skills and passion for hairdressing. 

Jasmine is our talented second-year apprentice with a knack for learning quickly. She thrives in the fast-paced salon environment and loves how, even in such a busy industry, there’s always room for fun and enjoyment. Her creativity shines as she explores different colours and styles, bringing fresh and exciting ideas to the salon.
